Titmouse
Lens: Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: New England

Just a titmouse and a sunflower seed. Heavily cropped...can someone please give me some pointers on post-processing? I'm not quite sure how to adequately sharpen the image without it looking like crap.

I just turn the sharpening lifer up until it looks bad, then back it off until it's the way i want it. Lately I've been working on getting good feather detail but not som much sharpening the soft downy feathers don't look harsh. Sharpening without a slider bar, I can't even imagine.

Nice capture, fellow "Fat Albert" - you might not have been around, but back in the '80s they came out with a Fat Albert light bulb, and I had an 11 year old and a 13 year old at home, with (properly) juvenile humour.

Your image seems properly sharp as is. I sure wouldn't add any more sharpening. Nice shot.

Great image, looks sharp enough to me, just a bit of tweak to the NR on the background is all that's needed in IMHO.
