Good shot, plays hell on the haemorrhoids, I would imagine.

LOL! Not my bench, but being wood slats, I'd imagine you're right.

I was thinking the cold snow actually, not the slats.

Well a heck of a lot better than an all metal bench if you don't want to be stuck there until the spring thaw!

Nice shot - you caught the curve of the wall at a good angle, as well as the shadows.

It might be snowy, but it doesn't look that cold
You can just as easily have your clothing stick to metal if it starts of a little wet - done that with gloves once or twice.

I think the cool compress might actually help.

I see why you liked this scene Tony. Love the curved line of the wall hugging the bench.

Thanks Susan. As for you other guys, the temp at the time was about 22F; not bitingly cold, but cold enough your derrière wouldn't enjoy the seat for long.

If you believe that spring will arrive here in a couple of weeks, I'll take a prepaid vacation to Acapulco. We expect it sometime before June.

Thanks Michael. We are starting to see a slow warm-up, but March is a fickle month, even in the best of years.

We'll see a few more cold snaps down here, but hopefully we've seen the last of the polar vortex.
