Waterfalls
Posted By: slowpez, 03-05-2014, 09:13 AM

I have been going through some of my older images and thought I would drag them out again and bore you with a couple.

The first shot is from Sol Duc in Olympic National Park. I wish I could remember where I took the second one but It eludes me.

I don't know Jer, if you haven't left Texas you sure haven't been there and I know Texas doesn't own a decent waterfall.
Well, since I grew up in Illinois and we've lived in Tennessee, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Michigan, I do have some familiarity of the world beyond the Lone Star State . However, I think you're selling us short regarding waterfalls - I've seen some real stunners down here in amusement parks and hotel lobbies .

Can't have a show GeoJerry because you have taken the space and there is a good reason for that. Thanks for the kind comment. I like the second one a lot too.

One of our top ten national parks - I have said it before and will say it again; there are about 30 national parks in our top ten.

Hey don't forget Pedernales Falls near Austin, that's pretty nice! I've lived in Texas 3 times.

Great waterfall shots. The first is amazing, showing the power of water to cut through rock. The second one blows me away. Gorgeous framing and tones. I love everything about it. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! I totally loved the second shot. Looks like some kind of walk behind the falls.
Cool!
