What we call Snowflakes... the flowers.

Flowers were blooming, then we had an ice storm. I think the snowflakes are the only flowers that survived.

Very pretty! Really love the bokeh and subtleness of these. (Can't wait! We are on the countdown to spring although it was minus 30C this morning)

#2 is an especially nice arrangement of these pretty early spring flowers, Snowdrops another common name for them.

Do we all look like crazy people in our front yards with our cameras crouched down over flowers and things?

Well, I am crazy to begin with. But I do get more looks than usual when out shooting tiny flowers and the like.

The bokeh on the second one is very pleasing. It's a beautiful picture. Yes, I wonder what the neighbors think when I am crouched down in my yard with my 35mm macro looking for bugs, flowers, and other things. It's funny, it's a whole different world down there--things you don't normally notice.

Nice photos. My neighbors are used to seeing me carrying around a camera, so they probably just shrug and go back to washing their cars . . . or shoveling their driveways. I carry a camera even in the coldest weather.
