I am carrying my K10D to work these days and since the weather is getting much more spring-like I couldn't resist taking a couple pics. Both are taken with the FA 50mm f1.4. I haven't taken it off since I bought it last week!

While parked and having my lunch I spied some burgeoning willow flowers; aka, Pussy Willows. I know - they are not perfectly in focus - the wind was blowing and I wanted to use a slower shutter speed and larger aperture to get a more blended background. Ah well - practice makes perfect. I'll do better next time.




Lastly, I noticed the rare Northern Pineapple. Wait - I mean Pine Apple!

Okay - it's just a piece of fruit from my lunch in a Red Pine tree, but what the heck I liked the red and green combination.
I was thinking that I'd tie a small string or wire around the stem of the apple and suspend it from a branch but hunger got the better of me and I ate it!

Hi Jeff. The 1st is really nice, very deep and vibrant colours with nice bokeh.

The 2nd shows off the detail the lens picks up, and nice contrast between the red and green.

1 would have been a great image Jeff if the wind hadn'r spoilt the sharpness. It shows the nice ccolours, contrast and bokeh that the lens can produce. Nice contrasing colours in 2.
