Great shot. I'm from the Wet [sic] Coast of Canada, and that's where the description of a seagull goes like this
Questioner: "What's that big white bird up there?"
Local: Looks quickly down. "A seagull".

It's way smarter than a chicken. It flies and its brain needs to compute all the factors of flight. A chicken just pecks at the ground for food.
