A Simple Pleasure

Our 9-year-old granddaughter, Claire, is computer savvy, knows all the "cool" bands and is all-around hip. However, she still enjoys the simple pleasures I did when I was her age, including blowing on a dandelion.

It's a great shot of a just "has to be done" situation, dandelions serve no other purpose.

It is that, EM - the very reason I pushed the shutter, so I'm gratified by your comment, for sure .

A wonderful moment from childhood. Our children seem to grow up so fast these days it is nice to be reminded that they are still just youngsters.

Thanks, Susan. It's nice to know that a dandelion can compete successfully with a computer game .
