The commute to work

This mornings trek to work... the first image is "The busy road" and the second is "Roads finished, boat the rest"

These are absolutely superb. A few years ago I watched a documentary about Scotland's lochs--and I've wanted to visit Scotland ever since.

I'm just catching up on some of the great pictures here. When I first read your opening line before looking at the images, I was expecting something like the M1 motorway, or the 495 Beltway, or Highway 401 (Toronto) (all known for their traffic congestion). Ha, was I fooled! But in a wonderful way - your images beautifully capture the expansive solitude.

Also, the colour and general quality had me thinking that there's something special about these images. The EXIF data revealed the secret: Of course, they were taken with a K20D. Nice.

Not an issue here, cell phone signals stopped working about twenty miles back.
