Very nice. I actually thought you may have done that in Photoshop or GIMP using the edge detection filters.

total post processing is as follows. All in PSP X2, starting with JPEG (that is mostly what I shoot)

Cropped down a little to cut out the rest of the display

ran despeckle to get rid of 2 hot pixles that showed up

Adjusted the histogram curve to deepen the blacks just a little

resize for upload

Sleek.

I had a pause when I first looked at the image. Clever what you did.

Nice image/colours Lowell. Original exposure must have been pretty good already even before your PP work.

Thanks everyone for comments.

This is one of those shots that you just see how you want it to look before you start.

I was just walking past on the way back to the hotel, saw the window, and took only this shot.

I metered using spot metering off the central part of the photo that looked about right. I knew the highlights would be somewhat over exposed but after looking at the resulting image on my now minescule display of the *istD decided there was no need for any more shots.

The low light performance of the *istD has always impressed me, and is one of the reasons I still use it, Besides, the K10D got a lot of work already on the trip so it was time for a change
