A covered bridge from a trip to the north-central part of WV. The first was taken with the Q's Vintage Color filter, the second with the Vibrant Color setting.

Not talking about the theme or the way it was achieved, just making a comparison and knowing that the image can be improved, in my opinion the first was better,

I like this covered bridge photo, Tony. I also prefer the more muted colors of the first one, which seem to fit the mood of the scene for some reason. A little bump in contrast might be helpful ?

Santos, thank you for offering your opinion. I actually like the second better.

Sorry Jer, I was posting as you were posting. I didn't do any PP on these. I considered it for the first one, but just wanted to share the old faded film look. The one thing I've noticed with the Q is the PF in the high contrast areas. I did reduce it a bit in the waterfall photo, but it is still there. These could use some work on that, too. I just didn't have much time to go deep into PP this weekend.

I think some contrast might make the first one stand out a bit more also. Love the old covered bridges.

Thanks Susan. I did try boosting the contrast a bit this morning, but I wasn't successful in enhancing the contrast without losing shadow detail.
