Nice. I like finding old buildings, too.

Excellent discovery! Interesting machinery...I really like looking into the shadows. Lots of history and mystery.

Thanks for the comments Tess and Tony. It was raining so that's why it is a little dark though I prefer a little darker on shots like this. Shot have set up on my tri-pod which would have given me more options. Cheers JIM

Yes I like the bits back in the shadow and trying to guess what they could be.

Agree. Old barns have that feel that something bad happened there at one time. JIM

I love it, bud. The worn red paint, the texture of the wood and the two decaying windows - altogether an outstanding composition. I used to shoot a lot of this sort of thing (often in B&W) back in my film days, but that was in Ohio and Michigan where old barns weren't hard to come across.

If these old buildings could talk. I love the looks of the worn red paint.

I like it a lot. The window on the left is like a magnet to the eye. Even when I explore the window on the right I'm pulled back to the window on the left. I find this intersting in particular because the windows are fairly evenly spaces. I'm guessing the machinery below the window creates subtle, but significant, weight. Technically it is very well shot also. But as you might guess I'm most interested in composition.

Appreciate your comments. When I shoot a location I try a number of shots. Here is another example. JIM

Oooh, I liked the first one, but I love the second one! You've got such a nice, deep crimson, and those textures are fantastic!

Thank you. Ws looking for better balance on the secons shot using the frame as the bottom to ground the left side. With the equipment on the right side it drawa to eye there if you don't try to even the left side. Fun exploring the different angles. Cheers JIM

Both very good but the first one is much more of a draw for me. I guess I was trying to say the "unbalance" in the first one was a good thing because of it's subtlety. It keeps the view on the picture longer.

And that's what I love about photography - there's something for everyone
