Our town of about 25000 is spotted with a bunch of neighborhood parks. Most are basically small playgrounds for kids, but a few are larger and undeveloped except for mowing and clearing underbrush. Yesterday, a took a stroll through one in which I've never set foot since we moved here 18 years ago. Pretty much standard fare for around here - lots of moss on old live oaks and other trees.
