Evening on the river
Lens: Vivitar S1 19-35mm Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Winfield, WV
Posted By: TonyTurley, 03-18-2014, 05:24 PM

There are times when life just seems to say "Grab a camera and GO!" This evening was one of those times. I didn't stay out late enough to get the colorful sunset, but I think these will do . . . and I just noticed while previewing this post that there seems to be some sort of curved artifact at the bottom of some of these. Perhaps a hair got in when I was changing lenses?

Also nice - particularly like the first one, although not exactly "signs of spring."
Again, thanks for sharing.

That looks like it would have been a gorgeous sunset with all the clouds. Enjoyed the series.

Thanks Susan. I was at my computer working on these photos, and glanced out the window in time to see a gorgeous sky. Kicked myself for not staying out later. Then again, had I stayed out later, I would have missed my wife's marvelous cooking.

Great scenery and good composition! Seems like a nice place to be.

Are you saving these shots as lower quality jpg files? Somehow they don't seem to have the definition you'd expect from their size.

No, it is probably the older Vivitar lens I'm using, but I do downsize my photos for web display.
