"That scene" that you need to shoot...

Have you ever had that scene that you keep seeing and that demands to be photographed by you?
I don't know if that sounds weird, but there is a picture that was not letting me rest until I finally took it:
I have two buildings in juxtaposition on my daily way to work - a very old one in the front, and the newly built Toranomon Hills in the back.

I know that the picture itself is ... well, nothing special at all, no illusions there, but I HAD to finally take that picture.
The scene was demanding it of me.
Is that crazy? Have you ever had anything similar? If so, I would be very interested in hearing your story.

Yes, many times. Every Wednesday for years I have walked up a path to a friend's house to play guitar. And there is a certain stretch of the path that, as you say, has been screaming for me to take a photo. One evening it snowed so I went out with my K5 and tripod and took this,,,,

Good to know I am not alone in that ;-) nice scene! Reminds me of the park in my hometown.

Been there too. I have spent hours and days trying to get what I see sometimes without success, sometimes with surprising outcomes I like. I love the black and white conversion. This is a great juxtaposition image. Have you got it "out of your system" now?

Yes, at least as far as this scenery is concerned, my system is now clean :-)
