Breakfast in backyard
Lens: 17-70 and 50-200 Camera: K5-11 Photo Location: back yard

here are some of Westoz's bird cousins on the east coast doing the same as they do in his yard. Those white cockatoos are naughty but fun to watch

Nice series, yours seem a little easier to approach. Ours are in a very small pocket south of Perth and are considered a pest by the WA.agriculture as such they aren't very trusting.

some fun shots, sharp & detailed, well done ..... cockatoos will always be noisy I think .

Yes you are correct these are very tame and will eat out of your hand (There is a male and female, a couple that do this) . Like you say they can become pests but at the moment they are behaving themselves. They use the same tactics as your group

They look like such nosy birds and must be fun to watch. I can see where they could be considered a nuisance but it is nice to see them outside of a zoo.
