A few more backyard birds

Common Grackles, Blue Jays, and a Dark-eyed Junco all visited the feeder yesterday.

We have't had a grackle ye this year. They certainly can have some interesting colours on their heads... good captures...

They just showed up here a few a days ago.

Nice pics. We've had Grackles flocking about the place for the past few weeks. All the other birds, including Bluejays, seem to be intimidated by them.

When it's just one the Blue Jays don't mind much. But when you get 50 like we had yesterday the Blue Jays get intimidated. We have a pair of Cardinals that I haven't seen for a few days, but this morning the male was back at the feeder.
