Bzzzzz ...
Lens: Vivitar 28mm and extension tube Camera: Pentax K5 Photo Location: Western New York ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F11

Intrigued at trying my hand at extreme macro photography (spurred on by a fellow PF member's website), I was looking out my window watching more snow falling, when I noticed a fly on the window screen. I captured this "willing" subject and tried a few shots using my reversed Vivitar 28mm lens and 36mm extension tube, with and without flash & homemade diffuser, and all shots hand-held. The fly began moving so I impaled it on a sewing needle for some "cooperation". These pics were the best of the punch. I am pleased with results after getting the bugs out (pun intended).

Such detail and sharpness in the eyes of #1, and very nice backlighting in #3.
Not sure if I like the background as much in #2.

That's just way to large, even Jeff Goldblum wasn't that big when he played the role.
