Just got this little guy. These crabs carry around little annenome's on their hands and wave them around to collect food and to scare away predators. Hence their name: Pom Pom Crab.

Are the anenomes separate creatures that live on the crab? He looks like he's ready to box! Nice colors!

Yes, they are separate creatures. If they lose one of their anemone's they will cut the other in half so they retain two. This is actually a natural sort of thing since anemone's will split in nature to reproduce. When the crab molts they will usually retrieve the their pom poms from the molt.
