These are excellent - the top image, in particular, is striking.

August is added! We wanted some full body shots in the calendar as well, the makeup artists will sometimes take the role as a stylist

Some really nice shots. That calendar should sell well. 1 and 4 are my faves.

I won't comment on the makeup since that isn't your department, although for the most part the girls have done a great job.
Most of the photos are excellent. Only two of them raise any issues with me. For October, the model is almost dead center in the image, and it just strikes me a little odd, since there is deliberate asymmetry with the leaves and hair. Minor quibbles though, so if you leave it as is, you'll still be fine. The August image just doesn't work for me, and certainly not for this series. The model doesn't occupy enough of the frame, and she is so far away you can't see what makeup has been done. Also, it is completely different from the posing and framing of all the other months you've posted so far. I don't know if you can play with the cropping, but you might want to rethink the picture so that she fills most of the frame.
Wonderful project, though. Glad you are sharing.

Thank you for commenting!

MSL: I somewhat agree with your comments. However, the pictures are chosen in collaboration with the makeup artists, not all of these where my personal favorites in the series. It might be that they wanted to highlight a particular feature in the makeup etc. As for august specifically, it does not fit very well together with the rest. The closeups of her where less interesting, both in terms of expression and makeup. The makeup artists wanted to show of some of their stylist skills as well and it was fine by me, so that is more of an environmental shot. Also the calendar will be presented in a close to A3 size, so reasonably large which will give plenty of details even in a full body shot

Last two coming soon! And it is possible to order the calendar if someone wants to, send me a PM in that case.

I think unless you have another landscape orientation photo, August is going to look really out of place in the collection. And even so, I'd still ask the makeup artists to consider a different crop so that the model fills more of the frame. But I understand your limitations you have in how much you may be able to encourage them.

Strangely enough I prefer the August pic best. I like the slight foreground blur, she is so well portrayed. Not sure that is well expressed. My eye is definitely drawn to her.

I think the image has a lot of merits - most of my concern is relative to the other 9 that have been shown (and if my poking on the flickr site at least one more image will be in the same style as these 9), the August one just doesn't quite fit.
I think if the makeup artists wanted to show a complete package rather than just a closeup head&shoulders shot, they should opt to have at least two of them to make a stronger case.

I also think that the august picture is a bit out of place, but as I said before it was not entirely up to me In the calendar each month will be viewed individually, so we might get away with it

Last two months are added, I like November much myself, cinematic feeling and great makeup. They told me it was an easy makeup to do (the model turned down last minute so Julia did the makeup at herself, the plan was to have a separate model for each month, but we were on a time limit).
