Handheld shots of a couple flowers that were growing near my house, sort of a sharpness test for my A-50mm f1.7. I really dig the colors too, loving this lens
Both are slight crops, the first one was sharpened, underexposed, and overall just processed more than the 2nd one, which was only sharpened a bit.

Those red Hibiscus stand out nicely, a little deeper DOF would have improved the shot I think.

Thanks for the feedback, eaglem. I think you're mostly right, I was focusing too much on trying to get the flower stigma to pop out all 3-D like, but I'll remember to think about DOF next time.
