Plain Old Woody

Haven't been over here much lately, or posted anything much either. I do drop in and take a peek often...still great shots and fun stuff everyday!

Nothing special about this Woody.....except that using what I learned those months I was laid up with the broken foot, I did manage to get the Woody's head the right color and not blow it out...which is not always easy with a Woody!

He finally found Otis' feeder and robbed it! Otis won't defend against a Woody.....he tried it once and had a sore head for weeks afterward!

Regards!

"Nothing special about this Woody,,,"
Not so! He's been immortalized on the Pentax Forum.
And very smartly so. Particularly like the last one.
Thanks for sharing.

I thank you guys! I see a lot of great Woody shots on PF, mine are not exceptional, but I wanted to give him his few moments of fame here!

It's hard to come over to this Photo Thread and not end up spending an hour or more commenting, there are always so many outstanding shots daily. I am short on time or I would be here more.......and maybe being a little lazy is a part of the reason too?

Best Regards!

Great detailed shots Rupert. At least now I can see where more than a few women in Perth got their hair coloring ideas.

You did get the color perfect! If you've ever used DxO's Filmpack 4.5, the "Prussian Red" preset helps tone down the intense red on the woody and brings out some of the other details on their body and belly.
