Let's Do Lunch!
Lens: DA 50, DA 35, FA100 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Denver, Colorado USA ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F5.6

What's for lunch? Let's walk down the Mall and find something good, OK?

(1) Waiting for Mom to give her a bite? K-5, DA 35, f/6.3, ISO 200, 1.0EV.
(2) A $6.00 hot dog sounds tasty, buffalo or reindeer? K-5, DA 50, f/6.3, 1/100s, ISO 80, 0.3EV.
(3) How about a salad to go? Sit outside and catch some sun, maybe listen to music. K-5, DA 50, f/5.6, 1/400s, ISO 80.
(4) Wika-Pita is very popular, an international favorite. Gyros, Pita-Souvlaki, Kabob? Here I tried ISO 3200, to see if it would look like a grainy B + W film shot. But no, that darned K-5 is too good at high-ISO! K-5, FA 100, f/4.5, 1/3200s, ISO 3200, 0.3EV.
(5) The line for Latte'. K-5, DA 35, f/5.6, 1/400s, ISO 200
Tomorrow? Pizza!!!
Ron

Hi Ron, didn't I see that third image before? Anyhow, I still like it! ;-)
Number five seems to be a 'tableau vivant', no real focal point but that is the point here, people passing time in different ways, nice.

Nice grouping of people shots and I think the b/w works well here. The first is cute, like a little bird waiting to be fed. I like the 3rd one the best, not sure really why. Well maybe I do know now that I think about it.

Thanks!

Thanks to all for the kind comments!
@ Igor, you may be right about # 3, I think I posted it on a DA 50mm thread or series. That lady is someone most would remember! # 5 is weak in central interest, but OK for scanning the little things like the boy and Dad, girl + dog, etc. Just a slice of daily life.
@ Bob, that's a great description of # 1, a bird waiting to be fed! They were right near me, but the K-5 shutter is so quiet, no problem. Ah, yes, # 3. Like most of us, I'm sure you were commenting on her fine taste in lunch choices, sunglasses and footwear!
@ Sherrvonne, those buffalo dogs are supposed to be tasty, never tried them. This lunch stand does a very good business, I happened to catch a slow period. I'll wrap one up for you and ship it out!
@ Kerrowdown, my inspiration for # 3 is your great work! Bonnie Lassies, nice footwear, a certain...fullness of figure?
LOL!
Ron
