Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Naples Fl. Afternoon walk through the park resulted in some captures. Shot with K30 and DAL 55-300 a Barred Owl, American Bittern, Red Shouldered Hawk, Red-Tailed Hawk

Great captures! lovely spot I have been there several times back in my film days as I grew up in Cape Coral would like to return one day as it's a beautiful walk, it's probably the same owl.

I'm amazed to see the American Bittern on the handrail. The only one I've ever seen was buried in the reeds and it was very hard to get a clear picture. Ditto for the Least Bittern although I was lucky enough to get a clear picture of the Least Bittern. Nice set of pictures from Corkscrew! Last time I was there I made the mistake of wearing shorts -- the yellow flies ate up my legs.

You can't ask for better performance than that from a camera and lens. And photographer! TFS.

Thanks, I saw something flying at me so I held still to see what it was and it just landed near me got about 10 shots full frame at about 100mm on the zoom
