Aussie Trev Day 1, Hole in the Storm.
Lens: smc Pentax 40mm f2.8 XS Camera: K-01 Photo Location: Moreton, Queensland, Australia ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F16

Well day one, actually day two, but one for the photos, of my shoulder recovery. This is hard, being right handed and having the right shoulder immobilised with the tendon repair. Cameras aren't made for one handed lefties. Then there is editing, hence the power line stayed in, sorry.

Thank you. A long road, but worth it.

Thank you Bob.

Using the K-01 let me get my hand round to activate the shutter, wasn't easy. The K-3 is going to be a challenge, especially with the DA* 300 and the teleconverter on, well maybe not yet.

Geez, Trev - I missed the fact that you've had shoulder surgery - get well soon!

Sure hasn't hurt your ability to spot a cool photo - like a big donut in the sky or a wormhole to another dimension. Great pic - especially one handed.

Fine Work, Lefty!

Hi Trev, good to see you're up and about. Very interesting sky you found and great colors and composition.
Get well soon!

Splendid image, Trev. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

(I'm a lefty but I don't think I could shoot one-handed, you did very well!)

Back in the day you could special order a Leica M3 for left handed use but I don't know if anyone does that anymore. I think it'd be best to use a tripod when using the K-3 especially with the DA* 300. Best of luck on a speedy recovery! Oh, nice image too.
