First rally I covered with my new Pentax K-50 .. never tried it in the field..never owned a Pentax.. so hopefully it was a good start. Hope to read your opinions....thankx... further more photos will be posted....

Excellent shots!
With that lens I would suggest shooting more in the f8/f11 range, that should cut down the purple fringe a bit and get the best IQ from the lens.
If you use TAv mode , you can keep the shutter speed up and let the ISO float.
It looks like you are blessed with nice sunny days so lack of light should not be an issue.

Thanks, rally is fun!

TAv is the mode for you - as Larry said. First, aperture, second shutter speed. Unless you're looking for some motion blur or special technique. Practice makes perfect!

I know my lense is far from being the best..but its the one my wallet can handle rigth now...

You and that lens are doing just fine. Thanks for sharing these. You can practice slowing the shutter speed down a step at a time to show more motion blur. Just keep shooting!
