Bee Working
Lens: Pentax 55-200 Camera: Kx Photo Location: Garden Area ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/1500s Aperture: F13.5
Posted By: OldGeaser, 04-12-2014, 08:58 AM

I was wandering about and saw a couple of small bees working a bed of California Poppies so did the best I could with what I had. No Macro, just a kit lens but I am happy with the result.

Having a go at this sort of thing makes you appreciate what the "experts' capture...and probably dangerously feeds your desire to buy that macro lens :-)

Great job - especially without a macro lens.
