From my garden in Stirling, South Australia. Both in monochrome because the bloodiness was basically over before the moon rose above the trees.
The first image is taken with the DA*300 on the 1.4 rear converter on the Q7
The second is the same combination on the Q.
Both have been cropped to give the same magnification. Obviously the Q needed less than the Q7. I also took some with the same combination on the K-3, but a 100% crop gave less magnification with much less detail, although that could at least be partially due to the lower light (earlier on so the eclipse was more evident) or possibly poorer focus.

This basically confirms for me that I will be keeping my Q as an extreme "teleconverter" for my K mount glass, and my Q7 as the native host for my Q mount lenses.
