Geez, they're pretty PO'd about something! That first one doesn't seem to like you very much! Nice ones.

If you look in the bottom right corner, you can see the wing of the other bird that got him/her all po'd.

The bird in the first pic will be reincarnated as a bald eagle. Awesome shots.

One curious question. What is your distance when you are taking there shots?

8 to 12 feet for most of these images....

TY for your answer. I am using a 55-300 lens and can never seem to get that close to the urban wild life in my area, so I just can't get the beautiful pics that you are capturing. I am considering a chicken suit as camouflage. Love the pics.

Norm, nice shots. I like the first attitude. I've seen those looks from a BlueJay. Are you shooting these through a window?

At least you can post pictures of yourself in the chicken suit... thanks for commenting.

Yes, the day before I shot these Tess said, "there are hardly any birds coming to the feeder, you should take it down (my blind) ", of course, a day later the patio table was where the blind should have been on the deck... but a lot of the blur is snow. You wouldn't believe the havoc a window causes with AF.

Yes, I would. I shoot through my window in the winter. What I usually do is MF first then allow AF to take over.

Maybe we should start a club... the "Through the window club."

Sounds like a plan. Rupert shoots through a window too, but his are mostly Otis. Are we sure we need him posting? LOL

I don't think we should be encouraging him... he's posted some great bird shots lately though. His broken ankle has forced him to experience other creatures besides just squirrels.

I really shouldn't poke fun at Rupert, he seems a nice guy, and we all sometimes go overboard with our animals/birds that we shoot.
