I especially like the last one--everyone seems to be finding very photogenic trees lately.

Nice set, Jer! Good mood and composition, you've used your imagination and gear to match the subject well.

Bob - it can even be spooky in the daytime . . . . . . if you let your imagination loose for a bit .

Thanks and, yeah, I think it's a live oak. They're all over down here, we've got a big granddaddy in our back yard. When we moved from Michigan to Lake Jackson, we had the house built on this lot particularly because of the spectacular tree. Little did we know that these things are dropping . . . . something . . . . almost constantly.

I wouldn't mind hunkering down in those woods, myself.

I have a woods nearby I go walking in that has interesting trees, but it's so dark in there. I'm going to have to take my tripod next time to get some clear shots.

Troll and Trees --- very very cool. If you look long and close you can actually find the trolls in each photo.

Thanks so much, Tess.

I find that the trolls seem to emerge from these images every 24 hours, which - by an astonishing coincidence - seems to occur right about the middle of cocktail hour.
