On US 93 between Kingman and Hoover Dam are a series of historic markers for places that are mostly not here any more.

Cerbat. Sounds like some sort of rodent.


Mineral Park. Sounds very scenic, which I doubt.


If you really wanted to go to Mineral Park, this is the road.


Not only does Chloride have a marker...


It has a big sign.

If you look closely, you'll see why saguaros have arms.


Used to be the Russell building. Now it is not.

Keep going, and you will see this - but only after getting off the highway and going onto the foot-bridge.

Cool. We were down that highway in January and don't remember seeing any markers or signs for markers. I remember the big chloride sign... Or a sign for Chloride.
