Thanks for the uplifting comments guys, yes I like it too. As far as post pro goes firstly it was shot on a K10 and a 50-135@2.8 (my fave lens at the mo) in RAW, I loaded it up into PShop-just left it all on auto-then cropped it a little, ->got to work on the skin as babies (well mine anyway) generally have a couple of blotches and of course, food on the moosh.
I used a plug-in called Kodak digital GEM airbrush pro on a copy layer then using a layer mask just did the skin leaving alone the eyes and other detail- I backed that layer off a bit so it wasn't too over done. There’s some cloning going on there too for the worst of the blotches
As for the eyes I just up'd the contrast a little and added a colour layer with a smidge of blue in there to lift the already blue eyes.
That’s it I think, it only took me about 10min.
Here’s the original pic so ya can see the difference.

oh yeah if ya look real close you can see my silouette in his eyes

Wow ... It's amazing the amount of PP can really bring a picture to life.
A lovely shot made perfect.

i know what you mean about little ones with blotches on skin.
My niece either has food or the occasional bump/bruise/mozzie bite ... and usually shows up in one of my photos somewhere.
