A very wet week!
Posted By: Bramela, 04-25-2008, 05:27 PM

Thought I might post a couple of images from a very wet week. (200mm in last 8-10 days!)
Both taken with K10d
#1 with Tamron 70-300 Di Ld
#2 with Pentax DFA 50mm macro

It's been very wet here as well.
I managed to get out for about an hour yesterday afternoon testing my Tamron Teleconverter on my 75-300 ... and that's about the only time i could get.

Like how the waterdroplets glisten in the sun.

Nice shots. No rain for us Mexicans here to get some shots like that! The Tamron 70-300 seems to be well worth it!

I saw the news that NSW is pouring with huge amount of rain. Yes, the dew photographs look so refreshing. It is all dust over here atm

Those are both amazing Bruce
Personally I'm most impressed with #1, due to the lens you used.
I never knew that the Tamron 70-300 Di Ld was that good.

And I thought that you Australians hardly knew what rain was.

Thanks for all the comments. Very much appreciated. It seems that we are finally at an end to the wet. For the moment anyway. I wasn't aware that it was that dry "south of the border". I'd like to send some down your way, be assured.
Yes, Stu, I do find the Tamron a very useful lens, particularly at its economical price. The Macro is very useable. If anything Stu, its a land of extremes, either too wet, or extremely dry. The latter being the most common. Droughts of late are a real worry.
Thanks again all!

Nice use of the water droplets, I like the way they magnify the texture of the leaves.

We've had less than 10 mm for April in Melbourne, glad to hear you are getting it up north. Love the sparkle on the first shot!
