A Flicker! I love these! I took a photo of one yesterday, but it didn't turn out this well. Couldn't get too close and she wouldn't face me.

Very nice impromptu shooting. I usually have all the wrong camera settings when something like that pops up!

Yep thanks trokia - I usually suffer the same fate but she (or he) let me grap a few snaps before they took off.

Thanks haha yeah I make sure I have the ISO I want and P mode before I hit the trails ..... usually

Nice and clear, good to see examples of the 300, have that but haven't used it much.

Thanks Trev - It's a great lens for sure , I did niss a few shots as some subjects got too close , but for birds it's a go to for sure.

As already stated ; realy sharp! DA300 + K5IIs is a great combo. Hope to buy a second hand K5IIs rather soon, but the Pentax second hand market is rather small in Belgium...

Very nice images Dave, had a Flicker sitting in the Saskatoon bush the other day but by the time I got there .......

Thanks Heinrich that is usually my story as well , this time he decided to stay for 3 or 4 snaps and then took off.
