We've got a little burst of nice weather and I've been walking around with one of two old Tokina zooms that I enjoy.
This hummingbird moves into this tree every spring and spends the summer there, I'll get more pictures and freeze it in flight a few times, hopefully, but here is an initial capture at rest.
Taken with a Tokina RMC 100-300/5.6
This fly was brutally murdered shortly after I photographed it at 1:1.4 with a Tokina AT-X 50-250
(by my lovely wife)
I wish that I had gotten more fly and less foreground in focus, but next time I will. I like the color painting bokah enough that here it is.
