In early March, I attended the world premiere of my feature film entitled
The Death of Indie Rock. I was the director of photography, as well as an executive producer. It was a low-budget, local feature length film about a three-piece band from Belleville Ontario who get scouted to play a regular gig in Montreal. For more info, check out the web page.
Anyway, I was charged with the task of shooting some stills from the premiere at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival in Kingston Ontario...I came up with some shots of the people involved:
1. Director Rob Fitl
2. Actor / Sound Director, Doug Brown
3. Producer Lenny Epstein
4. Actress Aneta Abramowicz
5. Writer/Actor Joe Salvoni
6. Introduction
7. The Crew after the show
8. Editor Marc Griffin
9. Producer Dan Wallace
10. The Group
For those interested, shots are taken with the 85/1.8 SMC Takumar and the 17/4 SMC Tak for the last one. The premiere was a great success, and we got lots of positive feedback from our viewers! Hopefully those in Toronto may see the film playing at a theatre near you sometime in the not so distant future!!
