Very nice shots, that last one with the spider holding the fly inside the flower is really great. Nice capture.

Thanks scott, it was really weird when I first saw it; as it was eating this fly, I knew I had to take a shot!

Dave, you have no idea! There's daisies, primrose, coreopsis, and Indian Blankets everywhere!

Georg, they are beautiful, aren't they? Even better as a group!

All nice, love the last one.

Based on your location, you must be close to Burnet, correct?

Waco, but I used to spend time in the Burnet/Llano/Kingsland area. Of course, that was 30 years ago when Burnet had one stop light and didn't need it. :-)

Yeah, that was a while ago. But my dad's from Lometa, so I know one-stop light towns.

Why don't you visit anymore? Much more interesting than Wack-o!

When I was growing up. we used to go to Inks and Buchannon frequently. We also had friends that had river front property in Kingsland and we would visit there at the same time. Needless to say, times have changed and between work schedules, other commitments, and friends that have passed we just don't have the time (and places). We still visit the area about once a year but it has changed so much that I hardly know my way around. And Austin is even worse!!

I didn't know any actually claimed to be from Lometa. :-) I call Copperas Cove "home" since we moved there (Army brat) when I was nine and my mother still lives there. Waco isn't bad, we both like it and my wife loves her job as a Ref Librarian. I just sell paint and try to find time to take the occasional photograph. ;-)
