It's been a month since I've taken the camera to the dog park. I've still been going, but no camera. In fact, it's been a month since I've taken any pictures at all. It's been really busy at work, the weather reports have turned from "mostly sunny" to "blowing dust" and "hot," and I hit one of those "already taken that picture" walls.
Well, I still fell like I've taken these pictures before. But I'd forgotten one thing: it's fun! So I went out and took some again this morning.
To change things up a little, I took a lens that hardly ever sees any use, the Helios 44. Its massive cousin, the Helios 40, get all the attention in my collection. I sill think the 40 is more impressive, but the 44 is oh-so-much easier to use.
For a long time, I thought the little dog's name was "Gigi," but I learned today that it's actually "BG," short for "Baby Girl." Well, baby bites.
I've done the backlit water bowl shot enough times already, but I can't resist doing it again once in a while.
It's going to be 101° today. I took these pictures around 8:00 this morning, but the shade is where you'll find everyone, no matter the time of day in May.
In June? Time to go inside.
