The Commodores or The Three Little Pigs ?
Posted By: daacon, 04-26-2008, 08:12 PM

It's a Brick House. (Pretty obscure title eh!!!)

I was on a walkabout today and this house just caught my attention. It is not the biggest or fanciest I have seen, I just really like the look, layout and the brickwork. It's too bad the car was there it really takes away from the photo I think.

Dave,

Hmmmm, two things come to mind...

1. Does that car really belong with that house?
2. Getting rid of that car is great for honing your cloning skills.

Dave, I'm old enough to be unafraid to look unhip or even stupid. I don't get the Commodore reference (maybe because I did my grad work at Vanderbilt and get a specific picture when the word Commodore appears). So . . . . please . . . . . let me in on it so I can sleep.

Thanks, Dave. Don't be disappointed. I remember the band but never listened to them - Coltrane and Miles Davis were more my thing. I played a bunch of pop music and rock n' roll for money, but generally always listend to jazz.

Looking forward to a good night's sleep,

Jer

No worreis I was not a huge fan - just as you well remember back in those days all I had was AM radio in the car ('63 Laurentian 3 in the tree , sneak 4 in thrunk to a drive in!) subject to all the pop music of the day. Plus dating back in those days I had to dance to that, it was not a pretty site ! I was more of a heavy metal, Blue grass fan myself. Now I like Jazz, classical, classic Rock , Blue Grass and even a few contemporary artists !

Nice shot Dave, well composed and exposed. You hardly get to see quality like that now. BTW thanks to your title I now have that song stuck in my head, guess I need to turn up some classic Canadian rock to clear my mind.
