I had a chance to go back and photograph some of my former students in a farewell production of Once Upon a Mattress for the school's retiring music teacher. The majority were seventh graders with a sprinkling of sixth and eighth graders. Our costume designer made all forty outfits, primarily of upholstery remnants. The graphics director plus our art teacher combined for the bed and props as well as dance, sound, and lighting(all other subject teachers.) Best of all, these young people put on a great show.
