I like it, clever and creative and easy on the eye.

Isn't it cool having such a farm so close to the city? We are lucky.

It's good to have a farm so close ... I do agree.

Another place I'd like to visit is the desert gardens ... I can't remember the suburb ... it was on Better Homes and Gardens recently ... it looked like it would be a great place to wander around and shoot.

Yeah .. that's the one ... they have a desert vegetation display.
A lot of it is a display in water conservation though.

What was shown on TV looked great ... there's a water course through there that is recycled (turned on and off) ... and is made to look like a dry creekbed (that actually slowly floods ... and dries out again).

Would be great to see it.
Maybe a mini-meet for Melbourne Pentaxians.

That would be the Botanical Garden Cranbourne annexe . I believe the Melbourne Zoo has done something similar, and would also be worth a look.

Yes, but on a very small scale. It's in the native animals enclosure ('roos, emus etc) and does have a very "outback" look with red sand and desert flora.

I would probably crop out as much of the buildings and trees in the background as I could, I find them a bit distracting. Shame the garbage cans are there as well.

You know, Collingwood is a 45 minute drive from my house, but I live in Canada.
