Tropical Highlands

As you head to the West it starts to get warmer... even in the Highlands of Scotland.

Thanks, had to get the castle in there with palm tree, otherwise no one would believe me it was in Scotland.

How long did it take to find a miniature castle? Especially one small enough to sit on a fence post

It's one from the camera bag and as you point out, getting the balance is the difficult bit, especially on windy days.

It’s called Castle Stalker, so that kinda fits in too.

Now that's a rather incongruous picture. The perceived distances between the tree and the castle, and that between the castle and the houses, are giving my eye some trouble. Hmm, if that very small castle IS sitting on the fence post, it makes sense to the eye. A trompe d'oeil, here, at least for my oeil. Thanks, I think?
