Yes the great white north, although, there's not much white left these days... soon enough it will be back.

enjoyable series to view Norm, but I think I may have caught a cold looking at the damp cold conditions.

I started off with a sore throat and it got better on the trip.... we had lots of sitting under the tarp looking at the fire time.

Looks nice there Norm. Beautiful pictures . I like that type of water trip....quiet solitude, just drifting in a canoe.

We have a 17.5 foot Old Town Freighter which we haven't used for awhile. Thinking of dusting it off this year and launching it in some of Canadian Shield lakes....about 90 minutes away.

Late April and early May are my favourite times of the year in Canada. Weather nice, not too cold, not too hot and the bugs aren't out in force yet. Water's cold though.

Bugs are just starting here... we got out in time this year. Thanks for commenting.

The dogs love tripping... but they sleep for a day when we get home.
