The Ghost Rider, of Osoyoos, British Columbia
Posted By: little laker, 04-29-2008, 02:12 AM

I guess that I haven't driven through Osoyoos, British Columbia in a couple of months. And since I was last there they completed a new tourist info center with this statue in front.

I really didn't like the paint on it, however the silhouette effect worked out. Giving it that Ghost Rider effect

I shot almost directly into the sun giving it that full effect this time without any real processing.

Nice silhouette Stu . The sign on the left hand side is distracting I think a clone would work.

Thanks Dave,

I didn't like either sign, or the roofs in the background, so I did a major clone job.

Attempting to make them look like mountains. I'm not 100%happy with it yet, and will probably take some more time out soon using a nicer background with the rider.

Although I do like the flags in there

A great shot Stu. The silhouette works very well. It's better without the sign.

Great job..

Nice one Stu..

I like the 2nd more as well.... but I still haven't figured out what you used for your clone? You can still see a bit of the sign but it looks much better!!!! not so commercial..

The indian is very nice.. That is a great sculpture.. I like the coyote and eagle cut into the horse.. it gives it a great look!!

Thanks for sharin... Kim
