love this photo

Beautiful color and detail. Absolutely love the crop. Was he open to being photographed? Did you show him the pic on the LCD? Did he like it?

Just wondering?

yes, he was completely posing for photos, i gave him a tip for the photos, of course...

they are very poor people, they lack everything that we consider basic needs..

i gave him money, but the other people i tipped with t-shirts, soaps.. where so happy as a kid in a candy store.

I am always amazed by the DA50-200, it may hunt a little bit in low light but on an ideal lighting condition, it will deliver crisp and nice color shots. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful shots.

Cheers,

Rene

That is one kick-ass portrait! You have portrayed him with lots of character, just the way I like it!

The EXIF is absent and I wanted to know if you used any 'fill flash' to highlight the hairs and the portion of his face (usually) shadowed by the brim of his cap.

Have a little sun and a puff. Any doubt now? great picture. The poorly wrapped cigar just adds to this picture

You can see the exif on the original, the cropped one doesn't have exif.

Yep, but I'll bet he isn't a day over 39.

Great photo! It totally reminded me of Understanding Exposure, Bryan Peterson. There is a very similar portrait in the book...
