first try with bellows and tripod
Posted By: Douglas_of_Sweden, 04-29-2008, 06:54 PM

Since it took a couple of days to locate my old "macro-tripod", it's not until now I've had a fair chance to begin test the bellows I bought last week.

These first three shots are taken with my trusty A 100/2.8, a nice compact lens which does not burden the bellows too much. The bellows have been extended between 5-10 cm in these pictures. ISO 100, M exposure, f8-11, 1/6-1 sec. Except for the tulip only minor fix in lightroom.

The lost and now found again tripod is by the way a Cullmann 2309. Not very sturdy construction, but practical with macro work since the head can be turned up side down and/or the center tube can be taken off to allow the legs to spread very wide. I had it since the late 80's, but have not used it in a long time.
