Meet Park Ranger Greg of the National Park Service.
Lens: Pentax 18-250 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Iron Works
Posted By: charliezap, 05-21-2014, 04:53 PM

I stopped by the Saugus Iron Works yesterday and had the good fortune to meet Park Ranger Greg who graciously posed for a few shots.I only had my walk-around lens with me (Pentax 18-250) but I was more than pleased how the ranger's pics turned out. I even got in one of the shots posing at the mouth of the blast furnace where the molten iron comes out from the action of the gigantic bellows that fans the fire.--charliezap

It is a great place in the middle of Saugus Ma. Jer and the best part is that it's free.--capn zap

One more from the Saugus Iron Works that shows the double bellows set up that gets the flames going to melt the iron ore for tool making during the 1600's.--charliezap
