Just started checking out the Macro forum, thanks to Photolady for pointing it out, I didn't even know it existed.
I've been swapping around between 50mm and 135mm lenses with extension tubes lately, been a couple of months since I used the infamous binocular lens rig, bu tit's certainly not retired...
Here are a couple of shots from recent days, various incarnations of lenses and extension tubes, I'll try to remember what was used...also have a few still on the camera, they'll have to wait for another day.
Tiny bee on a dandelion, a little under 1/2 inch long. Makinon 135mm and 30mm extension tube, flash used.
Parasol Mushrooms, same rig.
Dragonfly. 135mm lens, I think I was using 50mm of extension tubes. (may have been 75mm but I think 50)
Tiny flower. Don't remember the exact rig, I think it was the 50mm and 30mm extension tubes, forgot to reset focal length so EXIF says 200mm...I know that's wrong...no ID on this flower but it has leaves that resemble the clover family.
Probably not my best shot of that flower, then again I still haven't gotten one I really like a whole lot..
