Jethro Tull rocked, and of course there was nobody with that name in the band. But we did not care back then. Probably still do not care. Jethro rocked!

Well, aside from being a kick-ass band, they were named for a British agriculturist that lived from 1674 to 1741. He pioneered mechanized agriculture. I'm pretty sure this coreopsis was named for the latter... but, who knows? It might be named for the band.

Always wondered about the origin of the name "Jethro Tull." I like your story.

While in New Mexico, I may have spotted Aqua Lung, sitting on a park bench..........

I always thought of Jethro Tull as more a modernized version of the Englsih Minstral Tradition... and the Flute was always a big part of their style, my favourite, Living in the Past...

This has to be a set up, I have been working on my 4x4 in the shed all day with the music going and just left"thick as a brick" to come in and make a cuppa' and find this. By the way nice shots.
