Imagine if they were our size.--yikes
Lens: Pentax DFA Macro WR 100mm Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F19

These guys were on the wall at least away from the house. I did put some enticements out there to lure them into being willing subjects for the session. The first shot was put into pastel mode with the K5's filter selection and I used Picasa 3 graduated tint to tone down the background. The Winter was wet here so at the moment they aren't showing up in the house looking for water and food.

I did put some gum drops and jelly out there for them. They liked the jelly.

Really good series, Charlie. Seen this close, they look almost alien.

Good thing Gary that they are small and not the size of a cat or bigger.--charliezap

"Them! Them!" Great shots, Capn. These take me back to the '50s when James Arnes battle giant ants in a B&W, B-grade-but-now-classic movie.

Yep in the same area as the Skunk Ape!

Nice macro series you have brought them up to a scary size.
