What a nice tradition - never heard of it. May 1st or commonly refered to as May Day is also celebrated as Workers' Day and a public holiday in many many countries.

Here in North America it is unfortunately often associated with "Communism" and so we celebrate the worker on Labour Day in September.

Here's MY flower to you and colleagues.

EDIT: Forgot to comment on the beautiful flowers and the colours you managed to capture Kim.

Thanks for the lovely photos (and the hug!!) There are lots of really nice people on the Forum but I reckon you are among the top of the list. I am sure most would agree with me on that.
Thanks again for being the friendliest of persons(as are so many others as well). We all appreciate it.

You're so nice Kim.

Here's a forget-me-not I captured just this morning.

BTW my expensive watch tells me it is the 31st of April, go figure LOL.

okay so they're not exactly mayflowers but it is special in that it's one of the shots I took after dropping my camera on the concrete driveway, testing it to make sure it was still functioning okay.

On the camera end yes, except for the popup flash that won't stay down without some electical tape, the crack in the body in that same area, and the lens that was smashed to smithereens. I've since replaced the lens but the other I'll live with. I have five boys and everything I own is either scratched, dented, cracked or broken anyway.

Luckily I had another lens to test with.

Hi Kim and thank you for the greetings, here is one from me, it's a few years old and not even a Pentax image but it is of blossoms of a MAYDAY tree.
